This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how Arissa International Private Limited ("Arissa", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the networking platform at networking.arissainternational.com (the "Platform").
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. To use the Platform with non-essential cookies active, you must provide your affirmative consent through our cookie banner. Continuing to browse the Platform without interacting with the cookie banner does not constitute consent to non-essential cookies.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. In addition to cookies, we may use:
In this Policy, "Cookies" refers to all such tracking technologies. The Platform is a web-based platform and does not currently operate a mobile application. Software Development Kits (SDKs) used in mobile applications are therefore not applicable to this Policy.
We currently use three categories of Cookies on the Platform. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain fresh consent before setting any such cookies — see Section 9.
These Cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or setting preferences. The Platform will not function without them. Your consent is not required for these Cookies as they are necessary to deliver the service you have requested.
Examples: Session ID cookies, authentication tokens, CSRF tokens, load-balancing cookies, security cookies.
These Cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your preferences, language settings, and display options.
Functional cookies may also be used to remember networking-related preferences, referral matching settings, meeting management preferences, connection recommendations, and other personalization settings that improve the quality of networking opportunities and introductions provided through the Platform.
Examples: Language preference cookies, dashboard layout cookies.
Legal basis: Your consent.
These Cookies help us understand how Users interact with the Platform by collecting information such as pages visited, features used, and time spent. We use this information to improve the Platform.
Analytics data may also be used in an aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified form to improve referral matching algorithms, networking insights, relationship management features, and overall Platform performance.
Examples: Google Analytics cookies, HubSpot tracking cookies.
Legal basis: Your consent.

When you visit the Platform for the first time, you will be presented with a cookie banner that explains our use of Cookies and offers you the following choices:
Your consent is recorded through the cookie_consent cookie. We will only set non-essential Cookies after you provide affirmative consent by clicking your preference in the banner. Continuing to browse without interacting with the banner does not constitute consent. Your consent remains valid for six (6) months, after which we may request your preferences again.
For EEA and UK users, consent is obtained in accordance with the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR Article 6, and the stricter of the two frameworks is applied.
Certain functionality related to referral recommendations, networking preferences, and personalized connection suggestions may rely on Functional Cookies. Rejecting Functional Cookies may reduce the level of personalization available within the Platform.
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of every page. This reopens the cookie preferences panel, where you can adjust your choices. Withdrawal of consent takes effect immediately — previously set non-essential cookies will be cleared from your browser.
Most browsers allow you to control Cookies through settings:
Disabling Strictly Necessary Cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly, including the inability to log in and maintain your session. Disabling other categories will not affect core functionality but may reduce personalization and the relevance of your experience.
Certain networking features, including personalized referral suggestions, meeting history personalization, and recommendation preferences, may not function optimally when Functional Cookies are disabled.
Third parties whose Cookies may be set through the Platform:
Information collected through certain cookies may be processed in countries outside your country of residence by our service providers. Where such transfers occur, we implement appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards as required by applicable law.
We do not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting cookies, or marketing cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain any required consent before setting such cookies.
We do not control the operation of cookies placed by third-party providers. Users should review the privacy and cookie policies of those providers to understand how they collect, use, and process information. Arissa is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
The Platform is designed to assist users in managing professional networking relationships, meeting records, referral opportunities, business introductions, and relationship-building activities.
Certain functional technologies may be used to support:
These technologies do not independently make business decisions on behalf of users. Users remain solely responsible for evaluating and acting upon any recommendations, referrals, introductions, or networking opportunities presented by the Platform.
Arissa does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, availability, quality, commercial value, success, or outcome of any recommendation, referral, introduction, match, or networking opportunity generated, suggested, or displayed through the Platform.
When you purchase a subscription or upgrade your account, our payment processor (such as Razorpay) may place temporary cookies or similar technologies necessary to securely process payments, prevent fraud, and complete transactions. These technologies are considered Strictly Necessary.
There is currently no industry-wide standard for responding to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. We do not currently respond to DNT signals. You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie banner and browser settings as described in Section 6.
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email before they take effect.
We do not currently use advertising, retargeting, behavioral profiling, or marketing cookies. If such technologies are introduced in the future, we will update this Policy, provide any required notices, and obtain any legally required consent before deploying them.
